 s peoples of the Amazon have worked with Kambo as part of traditional clea
 nsing and ceremonial practices.\nThe frog is treated with reverence and re
 spect\, and the secretion is traditionally collected without harming the a
 nimal. It is then carefully prepared for ceremonial use. During a Kambo ce
 remony\, small amounts are applied to superficial points on the skin\, cre
